Privacy Policy

This policy explains how [FILL LEGAL NAME / TRADE NAME] ("we") handles personal information, consistent with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address, your flag preference, and optionally the first three characters of your postal code.
• Consent record: the date, time, and IP address at which you gave consent, and the exact wording you consented to. We keep this because Canada's anti-spam law requires us to be able to prove consent.
• Purchases: the name or text you put on your Certificate, and an order record. We never see or store your card details — payment is handled entirely by Stripe.

Why we collect it

To email you about Freedom Drops if you asked us to, to decide how much stock to order, to fulfil and support your order, and to keep required records. We do not use it for anything else.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and database.
• A shipping carrier, if you order a physical product.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, political parties, campaigns, or anyone else. Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where foreign courts and authorities may be able to compel access.

Email and unsubscribing

We only email you if you ticked the consent box. Every email includes our identity, a mailing address, and a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribes are honoured within 10 days and usually immediately.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries: until you unsubscribe, plus up to 3 years for the consent record. Order records: 7 years, because tax law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [FILL SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will respond within 30 days. Order records we are legally required to retain are the one exception to deletion.
